RING WITH US
Virginia Bronze currently has two opportunities for advanced handbell musicians who would like to ring with our organization on either a season-based, weekly schedule or on an opportunity-based, more limited basis. ​
VIRGINIA BRONZE
ENSEMBLE
Virginia Bronze is an ensemble of musicians based in Northern Virginia who are committed to the advancement of handbell musicianship and repertoire at the highest levels through the presentation of challenging, diverse, new and innovative music that showcases the breadth of handbells, new music that incorporates the instrument, and works of new arrangers and composers of that music.
The organization recruits musicians seeking to serve as ambassadors of the art of handbells through professional level performances, workshops, festivals and other ringing events. All ringers are expected to grow and maintain their skills as handbell musicians.
Performing the level of music selected for VAB requires skill and preparation outside of rehearsal. Additional opportunities for ringers looking for a more challenging and intense performance may be offered through small ensemble pieces performed as part of standard concert programming.
VAB rehearses from 7-9:30pm every Tuesday night at Bush Hill Presbyterian Church in Alexandria, VA.

RESONANCES
Would you like to be a part of the Virginia Bronze organization but are unable to commit to weekly rehearsals or a full season? Consider joining the roster for Resonances, our “on-demand” ensemble.
Applications for the Resonances roster are open to all experienced handbell musicians regardless of geographic location. If you are interested, please fill out the Resonances Application form.
Each time a performance opportunity comes up, we will send out a call to all Resonances members, who will then choose whether or not to accept that opportunity. Performance opportunities can range from full ensemble performances to quartets and other small ensembles.
